Award-winning cinematographer with a strong international career.
She studied at ESCAC and later specialized with a Master’s degree in Cinematography at the prestigious National Film & Television School (NFTS) in the United Kingdom.
Her first feature film, Birdsong (El cant dels ocells) directed by Albert Serra, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and earned her the Gaudí Award for Best Cinematography. Since then, she has shot numerous European feature films, many of which have received wide international recognition and awards at major film festivals.
Her work on A Thief’s Daughter (La hija de un ladrón) earned her another Gaudí Award nomination for Best Cinematography, as well as the Best Cinematography Award at the Online Film Festival Directed by Women 2020.
Her most recent films, La Furia directed by Gemma Blasco and Amoeba, shot in Singapore, premiered this year to strong critical acclaim at several international festivals.
She has extensive experience in television, primarily in the United Kingdom. Her credits include Endeavour (ITV), the multi-award-winning TV film Doing Money, directed by Lynsey Miller and produced by Warner Bros. International Television, Deadwater Fell (Channel 4), and Too Close, starring Emily Watson. Her latest series, What It Feels Like for a Girl (BBC), has been among the highest-rated series of 2025. She has been nominated for BSC Award for Best Cinematography in a Television Drama 2026 (UK Terrestrial). In Spain, her recent work includes Las largas sombras, directed by Clara Roquet for Disney+.
Neus combines her work in narrative fiction with commercials, music videos, and fashion films, collaborating with a wide range of international production companies including Canada, Pulse Films, Radical Media, Outsider, Blow Up, Stink, Knucklehead, ShowStudio, and O, among others.
Her visual style has been described as an exquisite blend of naturalism and elegance.
